March 20, 2007 - Planning Meeting Wrap-up |
The program planning meeting Tuesday night gave everyone who attended a snapshot of the diverse talent, knowledge, and creativity in the Hidden-Tech community. And if no one has told you lately, it's incredible!
Our evening started with networking then introductions by Hidden-Tech Board members Jon Reed and Rick Feldman. Claudia Gere started the program with small-group brainstorming: first to identify individual skills that could be shared; then what people wanted to learn, do, or experience through Hidden-Tech; and finally, resources we could partner with to produce events. We listed the most prevalent interests. Then small groups formed around those interests to hammer out event details.
We will share results once we get the information entered online.
Thank you to Dan Fried for his role as greeter and Alfranio Torres-Neto for our event logistics and cleanup. Many, many thanks to everyone who participated.
We'll have more details on our next event soon, but remember to mark your calendars for Tuesday, April 24 for a very informative program titled:
"A Bird's Eye View of the New Massachusetts Healthcare Legislation"
Here's your opportunity to learn what the self-employed (and small businesses) need to know about the new, mandatory Massachusetts health insurance legislation in effect this summer. Dan Keenan, Vice President, Government Affairs & Advocacy for the Sisters of Providence Health System will present and field your questions. |
